Cooktown, with its deep respect for the Guugu Yimithirr people's traditions, is a land that encapsulates the essence of the past while embracing the potential of the future.  

Cooktown's historical significance is palpable as you stroll through its streets. The town's rich history pays tribute to the Guugu Yimithirr people, showcasing their vibrant culture and connection to the land. The tour will immerse participants in the traditions, stories, and art that have been passed down through generations. From guided walks that unveil the landscape's secrets to interactive sessions with the community, the tour promises an authentic and enlightening experience.  

But Cooktown isn't just about the past – it's about fostering connections that transcend time. The Future Immortals Tour aims to bridge the gap between Rugby League Stars and the local community. Through a range of events – from social gatherings to educational sessions – the tour aims to nurture aspirations and ignite conversations about local issues. This collaborative effort, involving key organisations like the Hope Vale Foundation, My Pathway, Wujal Wujal Aboriginal Shire Council and Gungarde Community Centre Aboriginal Corporation, is poised to create lasting bonds and pave the way for a brighter future.
