QUT Partners with the ABF to Bring Esports and Virtual Sports to Regional Queensland

QUT is on a mission to introduce esports and virtual sports to regional and remote Queensland communities. Partnering with ABF Future Immortals, this initiative provides local children with opportunities to explore their potential as future athletes.

This innovative program includes activities such as reaction training, wearables, broadcasting, and performance analytics. However, it's more than just fun and games. By engaging with children in local communities, it opens doors for them as they grow.

Beyond the sports and technology, this project helps identify young talent, potentially paving the way for their future in sports. It's a chance for kids to discover their passion and develop their skills, setting them on a path toward exciting opportunities.

As the QUT and ABF Future Immortals partnership unfolds its mission in places like Kowanyama and beyond, it offers not only sports and technology but also the promise of a brighter future for local children, creating pathways for them to pursue their dreams as athletes.
